Premise: The show follows a group of young school girls who make a contract with a magical being to grant them a wish in exchange for magical powers that they have to use to fight witches.
Favorite Moment: There's a moment in the show when the tone shifts from magical fantasy to existential horror as one of the main characters is brutally killed by a witch. This is when the show gets interesting.
Significance of the Set: The characters in this anime all wear cute, frilly dresses. The pink dress set is reminiscent of Madoka Kaname's dress, and the blue dress set is similar to Sayaka Miki's.
Where It's Streaming: Crunchyroll; the finale aired in 2011.
Their Reason for Watching: Hunter wanted to keep introducing Sarah to the world of anime, and he appreciated the shock factor of the show's major tone shift.
