Exactly two months after their first date, Hunter and Sarah decided to visit a hotel-themed indoor mini golf course called Hotel Greene. The decor was purposely a little dated and also vaguely terrifying, evoking both Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel and Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. The course wound its way through a Clue game board of crumbling rooms, crooked hallways, an old claw-foot tub, and an abandoned pair of men's dress shoes. Hunter and Sarah were pretty evenly matched (which is to say, wildly inconsistent but having fun nonetheless). There were hidden book nooks throughout the course that you could look into through little hidden peepholes, which they explored while Hunter tried to explain why he loves the musical Hamilton so much. The last hole required hitting the ball straight up a ramp and into a giant demon's mouth, which neither of our protagonists was able to do. The evening of highfalutin mini golf ended with a massive baked potato from Jason's Deli, the couple's go-to date night spot.
