Interaction Rating: 3 / 5 (interaction with the set is okay, but only with help from an adult)

Premise: Dipper and Mabel, brother and sister, go to live with their Grunkle (Great Uncle) Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon, for the summer. Dipper begins to uncover unexplained mysteries and discovers a journal that helps him get to the heart of the mysteryand the dangerof the town, which, to his surprise, involves his Grunkle Stan.

Favorite Moment: The overall wackiness of the show is joyous, and the villain, Bill Cypher, is effortlessly terrifying. Each episode moves the overall plot forward, but also contains kooky adventures, like a mini-golf competition where actual mini golf balls move the balls under the course and are at war with each other. Or the time Mabel almost marries a gnome. Or when Soos starts dating a computer program named Giffany that tries to kill them all with an animatronic mouse band. The imagination behind the show and the relationships between the characters are delightful.

Set Significance: The couple found a MOC (my own creation) version of the Mystery Shack, where Dipper and Mabel live with their Grunkle Stan. He runs an oddities shop out of the house, which the kids help with over the summer.

Where It's Streaming: Disney+; the finale aired in 2016.

Reason They Watched: Sarah had already seen the show a few times and adored it. She wanted Hunter to experience it too.
