After work on a Friday, Hunter and Sarah got all dressed up and joined their friends, Vanessa and Mike, for a Casino Night at the Robinson Theater. It was a blast! Hunter did well on the blackjack table, and they both earned quite a bit of chips from betting on the horse races (less because they chose the winning horse and more because there was a particularly slap-happy attendant working that station who kept throwing casino chips into the audience for fun). At the end of the night, they exchanged their chips for raffle tickets, which they took to the front of the theater, where a variety of prizes were on display. They dropped the majority of their raffle tickets in only a few of the prize buckets, trying to bolster the odds that they'd win something. Vanessa and Mike were the first raffle winners of the evening with a Lowe's gift card. Sarah and Hunter had an auspicious night, as they won two of the larger prizes: a nice basket-style air fryer and Beats wireless headphones. After the first win, the emcee remarked that Hunter "even wore a bowtie tonight." On their second win, the emcee was a little less sweet, saying he hoped they didn't win anything else. Hunter and Sarah felt like they were robbing the place as they left with their loot, but no one tried to stop them.
