The couple's nephew, Andrew, plays little league in Alexandria, where he lives with Hunter's sister, Rachel, and brother-in-law, Steve. In late October of 2024, the couple was up for a visit. Hunter's brother, Dustin, was also visiting from his home in Mississippi. On a sunny Saturday, they all went to one of Andrew's baseball games (sans Steve, who was in class for his MBA program). If you haven't watched little league in a while, it's adorable. Some of the players, who were all around the ages of six to about nine, really knew what they were doing and had quick reflexes. Others...not so much. We watched as Andrew walloped the ball and took off for first base (we didn't have enough lawn chairs, so Sarah was sitting in Hunter's lap and Dustin was towering over them as he stood nearby). The first baseman did not move off the base as Andrew approached, so Andrew did the only thing that made sense: tackle the first baseman to make it onto the base in time before someone got him out. It was awesome. Andrew successfully made it to the base, and the baseman learned a valuable lesson about inertia. Later in the game, we also saw Andrew take a hit on the chin, which was something that happened to him almost every game that season. He has a magnetic personality, and also, it seems, a magnetic chin.
